When I stand in front of this room, I’m already excited to be in. On the opposite side of this room, there’s another room for going into the kitchen. As you see there’s a very shiny golden knob. The top part of the door has opaque windows to keep the privacy but still allows the light comes through, which is very practical to check if there’s somebody inside without knocking on the door. Also, a bit of light can come into the dark hallway. Next by the door, there’s a small plants pot and a safe place for the keys. Also, a present that I gave to Merle is exhibited with a bright and thin wooden frame.

The golden knob looks like a dolphin or one wing of a seagull. When I touch this knob, it’s kinda cold so I directly feel like I’m going somewhere else than where I am.
3
The day when I took this photo was quite grey.. but still I had a feeling like entering to the light. Also, here is quite warm. I’m always curious why there is another crack in the door.

When I enter the bathroom, the thing that attracts me most is the mirror in front of the toilet. This mirror is put on the table at the same eye-level height as the toilet. I was pretty embarrassed when I saw this at first, since it seemed like when people sit on the toilet they can see themselves sitting on the toilet with the mirror. In addition, I had no idea why the mirror had to be there.
5
But actually! It didn’t happen. So that’s the view when I really sit on the toilet. I am not reflected in the mirror subtly(?).
6
To be clear, that’s not the only mirror in this bathroom.

There’s a huge wooden closet in this room. I didn’t try to open it, but it was so clear to have the feeling of entering into the carrel and reading a book for the future. Next to this closet, there’s a spacious open storage that seems to be a perfect universe for making a great composition with plants.

Maybe you have already recognised it, there are so many beautiful green friends who are keeping this place with a fully lively vibe. I’m not sure if Merle made names for each friend here and if she hasn’t done yet, I wanted to name them. But, somehow I think it’s good to make a room for her regarding this job.

Another favorite part of the room is the arch shaped shower curtain rail. I think this arch fits well with other structures. Because it gives a different gesture to the space full of many things made of straight lines. Also, the curtain itself is a kind of magical structure that simultaneously divides and connects places.

The sloping figure of bathtub is also wonderful. If it was just vertical it wouldn’t be interesting.

The DDR-style stool(?) next to the toilet is very well-arranged.

This jar looks a bit suspicious or mystical. Especially the lid looks like a hat, which makes me imagine there's a nymph of a lamp.

Look at the edge of the door of a hidden space. It is amazing that the cracks between the frame and the door are exactly on the same line as the white tile grid. I do like this perfect grid.
